Sausage Alfredo with Broccoli & Zucchini Noodles: Serves 1
1/4 cup Alfredo Sauce (Bertolli Light - is a healthier option)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp reduced-fat grated parmesan cheese
2 Sausage, sliced (Al Fresco Andouille Chicken, Jennie-O Sweet Italian turkey, Gilbert Chicken - are healthier options)
1 cup spiralized zucchini
1/2 cup broccoli, cooked
Heat a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sliced sausage and brown on both sides.
Add spiralized zucchini, cooked broccoli and 1 tbsp of water to the pan.
Saute for 2 min.
Stir in alfredo sauce, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese until ingredients are coated with the sauce.
Heat for another minute or until heated thoroughly.
Other sausage substitutes: chicken, turkey, crumbles feel free to get creative but do share a picture.
